To view a list of all candidates whose names will be on the ballot, visit the Texas Secretary of State’s website.

Offices up for election in November include:

  • Federal races:
    • U.S. Senator
    • All U.S. Representatives
  • Statewide races:
    • Governor
    • Lieutenant Governor
    • Attorney General
    • Comptroller of Public Accounts
    • Commissioner of the General Land Office
    • Commissioner of Agriculture
    • Railroad Commissioner
    • Chief Justice and 3 Justices on the Texas Supreme Court
    • 3 Judges on the Court of Criminal Appeals
  • District races:
    • State Board of Education District 9 (SE Richardson, Garland, Lake Highlands)
    • State Senator, District 2 (Far North Dallas, North Richardson, Garland)
    • All State Representatives
    • Many judicial races
    • Criminal District Attorney, both Dallas and Collin Counties















* Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (Election Day) at 7:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is not postmarked, OR Wednesday, November 4, 2026 (next business day after Election Day) at 5:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day (unless overseas or military voter deadlines apply)

League of Women Voters-produced Voters Guide questions and answers will be available on the www.VOTE411.org website prior to the beginning of early voting.  Here, you will be able to enter your address and view a personalized Voters Guide that includes only the races you will see on your ballot, and you can compare candidates’ qualifications and answers side-by-side.


Printed copies of the League of Women Voters of Dallas’s VOTERS GUIDE for the November 3, 2026 General Election will be available at various locations in the Dallas County portion of Richardson prior to the beginning of early voting.  

Printable copies of the League of Women Voters of Collin County’s VOTERS GUIDE will be available on their website.

Information contained in both printed VOTERS GUIDES will also be available on the www.VOTE411.org website.
