On Tuesday, February 9, 2010, the League of Women Voters of Richardson sponsored a program titled: "
JUSTICE IS BLIND -- But do I have to vote that way? Voting for judges in Texas."

The meeting was designed to help voters make informed decisions in judicial elections. Topics included the history of the election of judges in Texas, considerations in evaluating judicial candidates, and methods used in other states to select judges. There was a section of the program for written questions from the audience.
