Primary Election Day:  Tuesday, March 1, 2022

Early voting is over for the Primaries in Texas.  Tuesday, March 1st, is Election Day -- the last day to vote in the Primaries.

There is too much important information about voting in the March 1st Primaries to include in this VOTER.

Check our website often for information.  As always, the information LWVRichardson provides is factual and nonpartisan.

LWV's  VOTE411.org  online Voters Guide (VG) is live for the March 1, 2022, Primaries!  Input your address, choose which party (Democratic or Republican, or 'all') that you are interested in, and click 'Go To My Races'.  All the races that will be on your ballot (for the party you requested) on March 1st will be listed.

----------
Click on the position you are interested in.  For example, if you choose 'Governor',  all candidates running for Governor for the party you selected will be listed.
  • You may click on a candidate's name to see how they answered the Voters Guide questions.
  • You may choose 2 candidates to compare their VG responses side-by-side.
Note:  All candidates were invited to participate in the VOTE411 Voters Guide, both online and in print. If a candidate does not have a response listed, that candidate did not respond to the question.

Discussion Group Field Trip:  April 23

On April 23 we will carpool and tour Bonton Farms!   We will meet at the Richardson Transit Center near 75 and Arapaho around 10 am to carpool and return around 1 pm. Invite any friends or family that may be interested in urban farming. Bonton Farms started as a community garden in a back yard in 2014. Now they are an impressive community resource.
Bonton Farms
The Bonton Farms mission statement is -

We transform lives by disrupting systems of inequity, laying a foundation where change yields health, wholeness and opportunity as the norm.

Located at 6915 Bexar Street in Dallas, it is open from 7 am - 3 pm Monday - Saturday, although the Farmer’s Market is 9 -3 on those days.
Here is a little background about how Bonton Farms got its start: The Rogue Shepherd.

Monitor LWVR's Website, Facebook, and Twitter

The weeks leading up to an election are some of the busiest times for Communications.  We frequently update our website (www.lwvrichardson.org) as new information becomes available.  We also post the most current information on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/LWVRichardsonTX) and on Twitter (@LWVRichardson).

You can help us reach more voters on social media by “Following” us on Facebook and Twitter.  You can also “Share” posts that you think will help your friends learn more about voting and elections.

If you have any suggestions for nonpartisan election information we should include in our communications to the public, email communications@lwvrichardson.org
