Richardson City Council Election

Local cities in Texas hold their own elections for City Council, but they sign contracts with county elections departments to conduct those elections using county voting machines.

This year, the City of Richardson has contracted with the Dallas County Elections Department to conduct its City Council election. Thus, even though approximately one-third of the city lies within Collin County, both early voting and Election Day voting for Richardson City Council races will be handled by the Dallas County Elections Department.
